Both AQA and OCR anthologies are addressed, all the pre-1914 poems are reproduced in full. A brief introduction leads you to a long list of the featured poems (both pre - and post - 1914). Every one of them has suggestions for activities; you simply click on the 'key' icon to unlock them. The activities allow such wide range of skilful response that most pupils will be led into testing their own capacity for both analysis and invention. Unlocking Literature not only provides poems in electronic format but also presents them in a variety of other forms: in tables, desequenced, 'mapped', 'collapsed' and so on. These other forms present examples of ways of investigating poetry texts which can be used straight away 'off the peg' but which also serve as a workshop of ideas which can be applied to other poems. Buying just one CD enables these resources to be altered, shared, filed and made available to many users on one site without the costs and difficulties of photocopying.
