Our journals and magazines, which members receive termly, will keep you updated. Currently, we publish:
-
Teaching English For 2013 there will be a new magazine, Teaching English. NATE’s two former professional periodical, Classroom and English Drama Media, are to be replaced by a single new title, Teaching English. This fresh, appealing and well-illustrated magazine will bring together the best of both the previous titles, continuing their tradition of thought-provoking and inspiring writing about what happens in English classrooms and in the English curriculum. It will also retain popular sections on News, Reviews and Briefing on significant events and publications throughout the year. The new magazine will therefore appeal strongly not only to classroom teachers of English from KS1 to KS5, but also to lecturers, advisers, researchers and teacher trainers within English Language, English Literature, Media and Drama.
-
English in Education – The Association’s prestigious research journal, issued termly. It provides an international perspective on the current theories and pedagogies which inform classroom practice.
