These documents are short-lists of sites for teachers looking for teaching resources and enrichment materials on the Internet. From Shakespeare to podcasting, Gutenberg to Gifted and Talented, we think you'll find it useful. Help us improve it by sending your comments and suggestions. Please pass them on to colleagues too.

Resources for interactive whiteboards

Visit this page for a series of nine free lesson activities. Although intended for the SMART Board, they can be adapted for other boards.

Useful ICT-based resources for GCSE

Are you looking for resources for your GCSE classes? Take a look at the new NATE resource grids for GCSE English and English Literature specifications - and help us make these even better!

The grids, which are free to download, list a range of ICT-based resources. Many of the resources are free, though some require subscription or the purchase of a CD-ROM. Please take a look and send in corrections and further suggestions. We hope that you will find these lists useful - and that you will want to share in the ongoing task of populating the grids with links to good-quality resources. In due course the resources will be listed in searchable database on this site, to make it easier to find what you want.

For technical reasons the grids, which are in spreadsheet format, cannot be downloaded from this page. Please click on the link to go the English and ICT site, where they can be found. Please send any suggestions and feedback to the team by email to Tom Rank.
