NATE Conference 2012 - English: the subject of discussion

Come to NATE's 49th annual conference in the historic city of York!
The highlight of the English education calendar takes place at the Park Inn by Radisson hotel which is located in the heart of the city on the banks of the River Ouse. York is celebrating its 800th anniversary as a city and will be buzzing with various festival activities.
The line up of speakers is as impressive as ever: former Poet Laureate, Sir Andrew Motion; Professor of Modern English Language, Ronald Carter; award-winning author, Meg Rosoff; Royal Shakespeare Company's Director of Education, Jacqui O'Hanlon; and the co-founder of NATE's National Writing Project, Simon Wrigley.
