	  <title><![CDATA[Developing exploratory talk and thinking in secondary English lessons: Joanna Sutherland]]></title>
	  <description><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 11pt; "></span><span>This paper reports findings from a recent, year-long, action-research project investigating how to develop students&rsquo; collaborative talk and thinking in secondary English classes. The study concludes that the evident development occurring in students&rsquo; discourse was dependent on a more significant transformation in the student and teacher roles, relationships and identities being performed, which is highly significant for teachers seeking to establish such dialogic, collaborative talk.</span></p>
