Lit in Colour, Penguin Random House UK’s programme supporting teachers to diversify the English curriculum, is continuing to work in partnership with Eduqas following their highly successful collaboration.
If you’re teaching Boys Don’t Cry by Malorie Blackman and/or Leave Taking by Winsome Pinnock at GCSE through Eduqas from September 2026, you can take part in a fully funded programme designed to support your teaching and enrich students’ learning. Participating schools will receive CPD sessions, class sets of the texts, and access to a wider library of books by authors of colour — at no cost. Register your interest by 30th April 2026.

Penguin Random House is inviting public and school librarians, along with teachers responsible for literacy, to take part in a short, anonymous survey exploring day-to-day experiences in libraries and schools. The survey takes just 10–15 minutes, and your insights would be greatly valued.
