NATE’s Management Team
Trustees & Officers
NATE is an educational charity that is governed by a board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring that NATE carries out its charitable purposes for the benefit of the public. The Trustees are responsible for the strategic direction of NATE, including managing resources, reporting to The Charity Commission and managing staff. NATE’s Officers have a key role in providing strategic support and guidance on how to develop the association in specialist areas. As well as attending NATE’s Leadership meetings, they work closely with members to seek out good practice and provide a platform for their achievements.
Director of NATE
NATE’s Director is responsible for implementing the aims of NATE, including the development of CPD, membership and income streams. The Director provides a voice for NATE members and the wider English teaching community, whilst collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that NATE develops regionally, nationally and internationally.
