English 4-11

Published three times a year, English 4-11 is a dynamic magazine designed to support literacy in primary education. It is aimed at primary English teachers, including those in training.

Engaging and accessible, the magazine features a rich selection of articles spanning Early Years Education to the end of Key Stage 2. Readers will find inspiring accounts of innovative teaching practices, reports on successful projects and classroom research, reviews of books, software, and other educational resources, interviews with authors, and thought-provoking discussion pieces.

English 4-11 is a collaborative publication of the English Association, the National Association for the Teaching of English, and the United Kingdom Literacy Association. It is overseen by a joint Editorial Board, led by NATE’s Primary Officer, Kathryn Brereton.
