Barbara Bleiman

Barbara Bleiman is an education consultant at EMC, co-editor of emagazine, and author of What Matters in English Teaching. She has written widely on English education and produced numerous classroom resources on poetry, novels and language study, while also leading EMC’s group-work project 'It’s Good to Talk' and developing ideas around ‘cultural conversations’ in the curriculum. She received the NATE Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Teaching of English in 2019 and is a Fellow of the English Association, as well as the author of two novels and a short story collection.
