Caroline Godfrey

Caroline Godfrey teaches at the Royal Latin School in Buckingham, having just finished her PhD at Aston University. Her research is focused on applying a linguistic framework, with a particular focus on metaphor, to both historical and contemporary representation of English as a secondary school subject. Given her research interests, one of Caroline’s main foci as a teacher is to champion the importance of the study of language and linguistics to English as a subject. She currently chairs NATE’s Language Working Group.
